Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Architect to design, build, and maintain our company's data architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, database design, and data management best practices. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data infrastructure supports business objectives and enables efficient data processing, storage, and analysis.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain data architecture strategies to support business goals and objectives.
· Design and implement scalable and reliable data models, databases, and data integration solutions.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define data standards and policies.
· Optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and data quality.
· Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for data management and analytics.
· Implement data governance processes and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
· Lead data migration, transformation, and consolidation projects.
· Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flows, and data lineage.
· Provide technical guidance and support to data engineers, analysts, and other team members.
· Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data architecture and management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in data architecture and database design.
· In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques, database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and data warehousing concepts.
· Strong proficiency in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.
· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
· Certification in data management or related fields (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) is desirable.
